Across TCGA patient cohorts, MUC2 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,706 significant associations in total. THYM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MUC2-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Lobar bronchus epithelium development, Negative regulation of peptidyl-threonine phosphorylation, and Negative regulation of receptor binding. Each is linked with MUC2 in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MUC2-to-partner and partner-to-MUC2 results are reported.
