Across TCGA patient cohorts, MUC15 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 57 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MUC15-associated genes across cancer lineages are TFRC, A-Raf_pS299, and ACC1. Each is linked with MUC15 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MUC15-to-partner and partner-to-MUC15 results are reported.
