Across TCGA patient cohorts, MUC13 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,438 significant associations in total. LUAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MUC13-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNF183, AGR2, and CBL. Each is linked with MUC13 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MUC13-to-partner and partner-to-MUC13 results are reported.
