Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTRES1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 21 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTRES1-associated genes across cancer lineages are A-Raf_pS299, FoxM1, and INPP4B. Each is linked with MTRES1 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTRES1-to-partner and partner-to-MTRES1 results are reported.
