Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND5P2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND5P2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher MTND5P2 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND5P2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and UCEC show a favorable association.

STAD, UCS, and READ are the cancer types where MTND5P2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
