Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND5P14 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND5P14 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher MTND5P14 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND5P14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and PAAD show a favorable association.

UVM, THYM, and COAD are the cancer types where MTND5P14 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
