Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND4P23 RNA is linked to patient survival in 18 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND4P23 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lymphoid neoplasm diffuse large b-cell lymphoma (DLBC), where higher MTND4P23 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND4P23 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and HNSC show a favorable association.

DLBC, COAD, and ESCA are the cancer types where MTND4P23 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
