Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND4P16 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND4P16 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where higher MTND4P16 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND4P16 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRP and OV show a favorable association.
THCA, UCS, and READ are the cancer types where MTND4P16 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
