Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND3P8 RNA is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND3P8 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher MTND3P8 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND3P8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.

SKCM, TGCT, and PRAD are the cancer types where MTND3P8 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
