Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND2P21 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND2P21 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher MTND2P21 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND2P21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and KICH show a favorable association.

MESO, UCS, and DLBC are the cancer types where MTND2P21 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
