Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTND1P26 RNA is linked to patient survival in 9 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTND1P26 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher MTND1P26 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTND1P26 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and SKCM show a favorable association.
ESCA, CESC, and DLBC are the cancer types where MTND1P26 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
