MTMR8

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNACell-linePairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA cell cohorts, MTMR8 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 20 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTMR8-associated genes across cancer lineages are HMGXB4, TMCO5A, and NPY2R. Each is linked with MTMR8 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTMR8-to-partner and partner-to-MTMR8 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, HMGXB4 grouped by MTMR8-low versus MTMR8-high in LARGE_INTESTINE.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MTMR8→partner) and Y-score (partner→MTMR8) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
