MTERF3

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTERF3 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,146 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTERF3-associated genes across cancer lineages are RN7SL82P, KIAA0586, and METTL16. Each is linked with MTERF3 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTERF3-to-partner and partner-to-MTERF3 results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, RN7SL82P grouped by MTERF3-low versus MTERF3-high in BRCA.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MTERF3→partner) and Y-score (partner→MTERF3) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
