Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTCYBP29 RNA expression is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 7,338 significant associations in total. TGCT shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTCYBP29-associated genes across cancer lineages are MTND4P4, MTND5P6, and MTCO3P10. Each is linked with MTCYBP29 in more than 25 cancer types.
