Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCYBP22 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCYBP22 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MTCYBP22 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCYBP22 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, HNSC, and LUSC are the cancer types where MTCYBP22 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
