Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCYBP18 RNA is linked to patient survival in 25 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCYBP18 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MTCYBP18 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCYBP18 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and KIRP show a favorable association.
LUSC, KIRP, and BLCA are the cancer types where MTCYBP18 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
