Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCO3P38 RNA is linked to patient survival in 17 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCO3P38 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MTCO3P38 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCO3P38 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUSC and BLCA show a favorable association.

UCEC, LUSC, and BRCA are the cancer types where MTCO3P38 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
