Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCO2P25 RNA is linked to patient survival in 11 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCO2P25 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher MTCO2P25 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCO2P25 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

KICH, LIHC, and PCPG are the cancer types where MTCO2P25 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
