Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTCO1P39 RNA is linked to patient survival in 12 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTCO1P39 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher MTCO1P39 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTCO1P39 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CHOL and BLCA show a favorable association.

LUAD, MESO, and KIRC are the cancer types where MTCO1P39 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
