Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTCL1 mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 92 significant associations in total. COAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTCL1-associated genes across cancer lineages are Shc_pY317, p62 Lck ligand, and EGFR_pY1068. Each is linked with MTCL1 in more than 3 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTCL1-to-partner and partner-to-MTCL1 results are reported.
