Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTATP8P2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTATP8P2 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher MTATP8P2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTATP8P2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ACC and THCA show a favorable association.
ACC, DLBC, and SKCM are the cancer types where MTATP8P2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
