Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTATP6P11 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MTATP6P11’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where MTATP6P11 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MTATP6P11 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUAD, LUSC, and KIRP are the cancer types where MTATP6P11 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
