Across TCGA patient cohorts, MTA3 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 15,642 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MTA3-associated genes across cancer lineages are MSH2, MSH6, and CPSF3. Each is linked with MTA3 in more than 6 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MTA3-to-partner and partner-to-MTA3 results are reported.
