Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MTA3 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MTA3 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher MTA3 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MTA3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and THYM show a favorable association.

LIHC, ACC, and KIRP are the cancer types where MTA3 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
