Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MT4 data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MT4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

UCEC are the cancer types where MT4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
