Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MT3 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MT3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where MT3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
