Across TCGA patient cohorts, MT3 RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 7,109 significant associations in total. HNSC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MT3-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Oxidative phosphorylation, Cellular response to zinc ion, and ATP biosynthetic process. Each is linked with MT3 in more than 18 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MT3-to-partner and partner-to-MT3 results are reported.
