Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT1F Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MT1F data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher MT1F Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT1F expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

ESCA are the cancer types where MT1F Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
