Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT1F mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MT1F data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher MT1F mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT1F expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
CCRCC, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where MT1F mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
