Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT1DP RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MT1DP data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher MT1DP RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT1DP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as MESO and SKCM show a favorable association.

UVM, MESO, and LGG are the cancer types where MT1DP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
