Across TCGA patient cohorts, MT1B RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 5,363 significant associations in total. STAD shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MT1B-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Detoxification of inorganic compound, Intracellular zinc ion homeostasis, and Cellular response to zinc ion. Each is linked with MT1B in more than 15 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MT1B-to-partner and partner-to-MT1B results are reported.
