Across TCGA patient cohorts, MT-TV RNA expression is significantly associated with the go_rna of many other GO terms, with 6,665 significant associations in total. LGG shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MT-TV-associated GO terms across cancer lineages are Protein localization to presynapse, Axo-dendritic protein transport, and Proton transmembrane transport. Each is linked with MT-TV in more than 10 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MT-TV-to-partner and partner-to-MT-TV results are reported.
