Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT-TL2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MT-TL2 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher MT-TL2 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT-TL2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and ACC show a favorable association.

BRCA, PAAD, and OV are the cancer types where MT-TL2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
