Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MT-TK RNA is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MT-TK data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher MT-TK RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MT-TK expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
STAD, OV, and LGG are the cancer types where MT-TK RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
