Across TCGA cell cohorts, MT-ND2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 1,550 significant associations in total. LARGE_INTESTINE shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MT-ND2-associated genes across cancer lineages are IER2, TRIM14, and SPDYE6. Each is linked with MT-ND2 in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MT-ND2-to-partner and partner-to-MT-ND2 results are reported.
