Across TCGA patient cohorts, MSX2 mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 665 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MSX2-associated genes across cancer lineages are RNU6-1126P, MIR521-1, and RNA5SP113. Each is linked with MSX2 in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MSX2-to-partner and partner-to-MSX2 results are reported.
