Cross-omicsPROTEIN-MS → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts
Across TCGA patient cohorts, MSTN protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 642 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.
The most reproducible MSTN-associated genes across cancer lineages are FAM210B, RNA5SP515, and LINC00347. Each is linked with MSTN in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MSTN-to-partner and partner-to-MSTN results are reported.
Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MSTN versus FAM210B in LSCC, with a Pearson correlation of 0.70.
protein abundance associated genes by consensus
Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MSTN→partner) and Y-score (partner→MSTN) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
