MSTN

mutation — cross-omics
Cross-omicsMUTATION → RNAPatientPairwise association · TCGA cohorts

Across TCGA patient cohorts, MSTN mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 998 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MSTN-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR5787, UHRF1, and BTG3-AS1. Each is linked with MSTN in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MSTN-to-partner and partner-to-MSTN results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The box plot shows the strongest example, MIR5787 grouped by MSTN-low versus MSTN-high in BRCA.

mutation associated genes by consensus

Ranked by combined sampling and lineage consensus. X-score (MSTN→partner) and Y-score (partner→MSTN) are standardized regression coefficients; both directions are reported because the association is undirected. p-values are from the association test.
