Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MSH2-OT1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 19 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MSH2-OT1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MSH2-OT1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MSH2-OT1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PAAD and LGG show a favorable association.

UCEC, PAAD, and KIRP are the cancer types where MSH2-OT1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
