Across TCGA patient cohorts, MSC mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 38 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MSC-associated genes across cancer lineages are ATM, GAPDH, and 4E-BP1. Each is linked with MSC in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MSC-to-partner and partner-to-MSC results are reported.
