Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPS33 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPS33 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher MRPS33 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPS33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUSC are the cancer types where MRPS33 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
