Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPS15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPS15 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher MRPS15 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPS15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, LUAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where MRPS15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
