Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPS14 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPS14 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher MRPS14 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPS14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD show a favorable association.
UCEC and STAD are the cancer types where MRPS14 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
