Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL37 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated MRPL37 data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher MRPL37 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL37 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and STAD show a favorable association.
ACC, LIHC, and LGG are the cancer types where MRPL37 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
