Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MRPL33 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated MRPL33 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher MRPL33 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated MRPL33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as COAD and PDAC show a favorable association.

CCRCC, COAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where MRPL33 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
