Across TCGA patient cohorts, MPZ mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 14 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MPZ-associated genes across cancer lineages are EGFR_pY1068, ACC1, and JNK2. Each is linked with MPZ in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MPZ-to-partner and partner-to-MPZ results are reported.
