Across TCGA patient cohorts, MPO protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 17,617 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MPO-associated genes across cancer lineages are IL1B, FCGR3B, and S100A12. Each is linked with MPO in more than 9 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MPO-to-partner and partner-to-MPO results are reported.

Each partner links to its own Q-omics profile. The scatter plot shows the strongest example, MPO versus IL1B in COAD, with a Pearson correlation of 0.51.
