Across TCGA cell cohorts, MPI mutation is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13 significant associations in total. BLOOD_Leukemia shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MPI-associated genes across cancer lineages are GPR26, TRIM42, and NKX2-6. Each is linked with MPI in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MPI-to-partner and partner-to-MPI results are reported.
