Across TCGA patient cohorts, MPDZ mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 95 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible MPDZ-associated genes across cancer lineages are ASNS, Bak, and Caspase-7-cleavedD198. Each is linked with MPDZ in more than 4 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both MPDZ-to-partner and partner-to-MPDZ results are reported.
