Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, MOB3B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 14 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of MOB3B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where MOB3B RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types MOB3B is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as COAD and THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

COAD, THCA, and HNSC are the cancer types where MOB3B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
